The United States had 950 drilling rigs running at the end of last week. That’s down four from the prior week. Texas decreased four rigs to end last week at 450 for the Texas Railroad Commission issued 208 drilling permits last week to bring the 10 week rolling average to 259 natural gas prices decreased by 12 cents to average $2.31 per mmbtu last week. West Texas intermediate crude prices decreased to $2.29 to average $56.98 a barrel last week and gasoline prices across Texas increased by 3 cents to end last week at an average of $2.53 a gallon.
