The United States had 967 drilling rigs running at the end of last week down four from the prior week. Texas decreased by one rig to end last week at 463 the Texas railroad commission issued 238 drilling permits last week to bring the 10 week rolling average to 270 natural gas prices remained the same at an average of $2 and 31 cents per MMB to you. Last week, West Texas intermediate group prices decreased 51 cents to average $57 and 55 cents a barrel last week and the gasoline prices across Texas increased by 6 cents to end last week at an average of $2 and 47 cents a gallon.
