  1. I love the “In The Oil Patch program… Great guests, subjects, and content.

    But I have to say,,,,, Kym sounds like she is down a well… The reflected sound makes it difficult to understand her speech a lot of the time.

    Just a thought to get a better mic / room setup…..

  2. I am an occasional listener and generally like the show and find the topics discussed relevant and timely.
    HOWEVER, I find it difficult to understand some of what is said, mostly by KYM. Specifically, her speech quality is BAD. It sounds like she is speaking at a substantial distance from her microphone in a very hard and reflective room. The result is way to much room sound reflections in the audio relative to her “direct voice” into the microphone, which makes her speech harder to understand. Many of her quests sound clear and obviously are using a reasonable microphone technique.
    I do not have any information on your broadcast set-up but if you are going to do the show you should put some effort into using a minimum set of production values. Just my comment; I hope that you can find someone to help get this in order.
