The professional protesters at the Dakota Access Pipeline protest site in North Dakota have claimed to be “protectors of the waters and land” for the last several months. Unfortunately, as the DAPL finally gets the go-ahead for completion from the Army Corps of Engineers, local officials tasked with cleaning up the mess the protestors have made are finding it a monumental task. The conflict groups who have largely funded the protests are naturally nowhere to be found when it comes to cleaning up their own mess.
